Griffin Portfolio Management Corp. (GPM) is an investment advisor, registered with the Securities & Exchange Commission. GPM was formed in 1993, and has quietly built an impressive track record by consistently applying a value-oriented investment philosophy and executing straightforward strategies. The four members of our professional team have more than forty years of combined investment management experience.
GPM helps clients in several important ways depending on their unique circumstances. We start by clearly defining their financial goals and long-term investment objectives. Next, we develop a plan or set of strategies to meet those objectives. From there, we manage or help with the management of their assets on a continuing basis.
GPM is a fee-only advisor, not a stockbroker. We are paid a very reasonable fee determined by the value of assets managed and portfolio objectives. We are never paid any part of a commission and try to keep transactions and related costs to a minimum. Our investment strategies are clearly aimed at meeting the objectives of our clients.
Client accounts are normally carried through the institutional services division of our custodian, Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., one of the nation’s largest brokerage firms. Accounts are always registered in client name and managed according to their personal objectives. As a client, you will be kept well informed of activity and progress in your account(s). Transaction confirmations and monthly statements are delivered promptly by Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. (electronically or regular mail). GPM sends you a clear, concise performance report and client letter shortly after the end of each quarter. The GPM Weekly Recap is delivered every week by email. Of course we are always available to talk.
